"We returned last week from an amazing 2 weeks in Costa Rica. The stay at La Macha could not have been better. The staff, the view, the monkeys, the sunsets, the jungle sounds, the peacefulness were all more than we could have imagined. Our children were delighted by the sloths and monkeys they saw and have not stopped talking about the trip. I also wanted to say some words about Jota and our babysitter Elena. They MADE our stay. Jota was everything that everyone on the website said he would be. Elena felt like family. I cried saying goodbye to her. We were lucky to be at the Villa over Thanksgiving and were even luckier that all of Jota’s family and the villa staff joined us for a memorable Thankgiving feast (Costa Rican style, of course). "Scott, We just returned from our vacation at Villa la Macha. “The best vacation I ever had” was heard on more then one occasion. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the view is breath taking. We are planning on e.mailing you some photos of the sunset from your hot tub. We were fortunate enough to stay in the guest cottage. Wow, did you underplay that on your web site. The others were all jealous of our room and view! My bedroom at home will never be the same again. But, by far the best feature of your Villa are Jaime and Cecilia. They were a 10 all the way around. We ate and were treated like royalty the entire week. There wasn’t one thing we asked for that Jaime didn’t buy and Cecilia didn’t cook. We all came back to the states a few pounds heavier thanks to her cooking. Jaime and Cecilia were a wonderful addition to our Villa rental. They made our vacation truly that, a vacation from grocery shopping and washing dishes. What a treat they both were. I could easily send you three e.mails full of compliments regarding both of them.
